Avatar: FoP, Rainforest clan
Rainforest clan was the first one that we have tackled, they are very close to the first movie, yet they still have their own identity. Nefeka and Kanat both rule their clan in their own way and we wanted to show their personal differences in the opposite color and structures of their clothing even though the materials are quite similar.

Even though Nefeka can be intense, with her clothing we wanted to make her feel warm and welcoming
Saman Mahmoudi did a great job with the hair, so appart from blocking it out in zbrush it was important for us to do very clear textured concept for the varying size and placement of the braids.
Kanat is the opposite, he feels like if you hugged him he would croak like an old chair.
