Arlinoe the Guardian of the Boy-king
Arlinoe is a guardian of a Boy-king. She has been employed in the family for many years now and once she was one of the fasters fencers in the capital. Now she is getting older and slower, but her fighting spirit and all street wisdom more than makes up for her age. I imagined her to be slightly less grumpy version of Captain Vimes from the Nightwatch setting of the Discworld novels.
I imagine her slightly grumpily standing nearby in the next room or in the corners while the royalty is throwing the most lavish parties. Arlinoe is not in her prime, so her equipment feels worn and not ceremonial.
The helmet decorations are a mix of Assyrian and Greek art. Under the helmet she has quite gentle bangs to bring up the contrast between the stern helmet wearing look.
